In 2014 half a megawatt of biomass heating was installed for the commercial office space, residential property and some light industrial. The biomass is an integral part of the site and works efficiently and sustainably to ensure the properties are heated in the best possible way.

Dunchideock Barton has three solar PV systems that generate electricity for the site.

Dunchideock Barton has its own spring and supplies the entire site with fresh water.
